That’s why we created Volvo Care Select, an optional protection plan designed specifically with leases and short term ownership in mind to help protect your new car against the unexpected, with coverage for items that the vehicle’s warranty may not cover.

ZERO DEDUCTIBLE

Volvo Care Select will add assurance that you are protected against the expense of covered mechanical breakdowns. Plus additional benefits to keep you going — wherever you are.

Volvo Care Select protects many of the components of your vehicle with a remarkable $0 deductible.

PLATINUM PLUS COVERAGE

The “Ultimate Peace of Mind protection in the event of a covered mechanical breakdown, Platinum Plus protection covers many assemblies on your vehicle in addition to the following coverage during the term of the Service Contract:*

BRAKE PADS

Covers the replacement of one (1) set of front and rear brake pads/shoes per year.

BATTERY

Covers one (1) battery replacement per year or the difference between the manufacturer’s pro-rated reimbursement and the total cost of the battery.

HEADLAMPS

Covers the unlimited replacement of headlamps (IMPACT DAMAGE IS NOT COVERED).

WINDSHIELD WIPER BLADES

Covers the replacement of one (1) set of front and rear windshield wiper blades and/or inserts per year.

BELTS AND HOSES

Covers the replacement of the engine belts and hoses including: vacuum pump belt, serpentine belt, power steering belt, alternator belt, supercharger belt, air intake recirculation pump belt, air conditioner belt, water pump belt, heater hose, bypass hose, throttle body hose, upper and lower radiator hoses, air conditioning hose, power steering pressure and return hose, air hose, washer hoses, vacuum hoses, and fuel hoses.

ELECTRICAL

Unlimited coverage of fuses, interior and exterior light bulbs including: turn signal bulbs, engine compartment lights, running lights, fog lights, stop lights, backup lights, license plate lights, parking lights, trunk light, dome light, courtesy light, visor light, map light and glove box light.

WHEEL ALIGNMENT

Covers one (1) wheel alignment during the term of the Service Contract.

TIRE ROTATIONS

Covers one (1) tire rotation per year during the term of the Service Contract.

PLATINUM PLUS ROTORS COVERAGE

Platinum Plus Rotors Coverage offers all the same features of Platinum Plus with the following additional coverage:*

BRAKE ROTORS

Covers the replacement of one (1) set of front and rear brake rotors/drums in conjunction with a brake pad replacement (excluding carbon/ceramic rotors).

ALTERNATE TRANSPORTATION COVERAGE

The Service Contract includes reimbursement up to $40 per day for up to 10 days for the cost of alternative transportation incurred as a result of a covered mechanical breakdown. Coverage includes reimbursement for public transportation, rental car services or ridesharing services using a licensed rental agency, authorized dealer or ridesharing service.

ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE AND KEY PROTECTION

Volvo Roadside Assistance includes 24-hour, $100 “Sign and Drive” coverage for the term of the Service Contract. Coverage includes:

• Towing to the nearest authorized Volvo dealer for mechanical disablement which renders your vehicle inoperative
• Flat Tire
• Lockout
• Jump-start

Volvo Care Select also provides Key Replacement Service which reimburses for repairs or replacement of one key and/or key fob annually; $400 limit per repair or replacement.

FLUIDS COVERAGE

Replacement of necessary fluids, oils, greases, lubricants, and approved air conditioner gases needed in conjunction with a covered repair.

FINANCING

The cost of the selected coverage level can be included in the financing of your vehicle. This product is optional, cancellable and is not required to obtain financing.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Volvo Care Select does not cover brake drums or rotors (unless Platinum Plus Rotors Coverage is selected), solar powered devices, glass, lenses, body parts and/ or panels, trim, moldings, tires, wheels, upholstery, paint, bright metal, audio/security or other systems not factory installed, wheel balancing, cellular phones, radar detectors, appliances, vinyl and convertible tops.

Volvo Care Select also does not cover mechanical breakdowns caused by misuse, abuse, negligence (including the negligence of any repair facility), improper towing, lack of maintenance of the failed covered part, contamination, overheating, lack of coolant or lubricants, lack of oil viscosity, sludge, restricted oil flow, salt, rust and rust damage, environmental damage, or chemicals; burnt valves, worn or carbon fouled piston rings, the correction of oil consumption, or any repairs for reduction in engine efficiency that must be performed on the vehicle.

DIRECT PAYMENT

Participating dealers can be paid directly for authorized repairs. You do not have to pay and wait for reimbursement.
